New Experience Modification Rate

Tempe, AZ, October 1st, 2022 – DP Electric has a new Exmod rate of 0.57!

“DP Electric is always looking to improve companywide safety programs and best practices. Through innovation, collaborative input, and training, DP Electric continues to keep the safety and health of our employee’s priority #1.” These are the words of DP Electrics’ Safety Manager, Kevin Lopez, that motivate our entire safety team each day.

Through the relentless in field and classroom training on fall protection, NFPA 70E, confined space, excavation, and LOTO; DP Electric has a New Experience Modification Rate of 0.57. An Experience Modification Rate (EMR) measures the number of claims or injuries a company has experienced in the past and the cost attached. This rate has a serious impact on the cost of workers compensation premiums as well as keeping a company competitive when targeting new projects.

Safety is the basis of every job here at DP Electric as it has full executive/management support. With the continued trainings and extensive CPR/AED/First Aid training of the field leadership staff, DP Electric strives to continue to lower this number.
