Safety is foundational to who we are at DP Electric, and that commitment is reflected in our recognition as a Diamond Level Partner with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, or BCSP. This designation is earned by organizations with more than 100 team members holding the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction, or STS C, certification.
That milestone represents hundreds of hours of study, training, and testing completed by our people. More importantly, it reflects a personal commitment to safety as part of everyday leadership on the jobsite. While certifications are important, the real impact is seen in a stronger safety culture, where hazards are recognized sooner, crews feel supported, and projects run safer and more efficiently.
Becoming a Diamond Level Partner places DP Electric among a very small group of organizations nationwide. We are also the only privately held electrical contractor in the world to reach this level of certification. For us, this recognition is not about standing apart, but about raising the standard for safety leadership across the construction industry.
The STS C certification is designed for leaders who oversee crews or support project operations, including field leaders, superintendents, senior project managers, and operations staff. The training focuses on hazard recognition, risk control, leadership, and communication, giving our leaders the tools to plan work with safety in mind and the confidence to address concerns before they become incidents.
