In 2025, we proudly celebrate 35 years in business and reflect on how far we have come since our start in 1990. DP Electric began in our founder, Dan Puente’s garage with a simple vision built on hard work and opportunity. Today, that vision has grown into a leading electrical contracting organization serving clients across the Southwest. Over the years, we have expanded from smaller commercial projects in the Phoenix area to delivering highly complex work for data centers, hospitals, educational campuses, aviation facilities, and major commercial developments. Each step in our growth has been driven by determination, teamwork, and the trust placed in us by the partners and clients we serve.
As we look back, several milestones reflect the progress that has shaped our company. Early growth into larger commercial and public projects helped establish DP Electric as a competitive and dependable contractor. Our first million-dollar project marked a major moment in proving our capabilities and set the stage for continued expansion. The launch of our Texas office allowed us to extend our reach and take on new opportunities in a fast-growing market. Our transition to being 100 percent employee-owned stands as one of the most meaningful moments in our history, strengthening our culture and creating a shared commitment to our long-term success. Our state-of-the-art headquarters in Tempe symbolizes not only our growth but also our dedication to supporting our people and the work they do.
