Mike Sulcer
Director of Field Leadership Development
Mike has more than 27 years’ experience in the construction industry having worked his way up in the electrical contracting business. Mike started as an apprentice, graduated from the ABC apprenticeship program (Associated Builders & Contractors). He was promoted to a JW, and worked his way up into leadership positions throughout his career which includes: Sub-Foreman, Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, General Superintendent, Field Operations Manager, Director of Field Operations, and is now DP Electric’s Director of Field Leadership Development. He has also completed both the Arizona Builders Alliance LDF and SEP courses, and instructed & served on the advisory board for the ABA’s STP program.
Mike has an instrumental role identifying areas of improvement within our Field Leadership team that aligns with the company’s vision, goals, & initiatives for continued success. He takes lead supporting the QAQC team, Field Leadership training & development program both in the classroom & field, ensuring consistency and standardization. He oversees and empowers the Field Leadership team with a mentorship & training program in the field that helps drive the company’s vision, goals, & initiatives consistently.
Mike is a proud father and husband. He enjoys a variety of hobbies such as weightlifting & cardio activities, reading, golfing, shooting, camping, dirt biking, spending time with family, vacationing to new places, and watching sports & movies.
