Founded in 1990 by Mr. Daniel J. Puente, D.P. Electric, Inc. began with Mr. Puente as the sole employee with one truck and a utility room off his garage. It has since grown to have revenues exceeding thirty million dollars. Prior to founding D.P. Electric Inc., Mr. Puente advanced in the ranks from apprentice to general foreman within several companies. He has always been an advocate of personal and professional growth but could not find a company to foster his growth to its fullest potential. Thus, D.P. Electric was born.
Mr. Puente strongly believes that actions define a person, which reflects in his business practices. He has surrounded himself with people who share the same core values. At D.P. Electric Inc., we believe that integrity, respect and accountability must be in the forefront of everything we do.
Over twenty years later, D.P. Electric, Inc. has created a loyal following with over 80% of our work being repeat business. We currently employ a base staff of over 125 skilled craftsmen, peaking at 225 at the height of the last market cycle. We managed more than 225 field workers with our current office staff. We anticipate our staff to increase to over 200 again as the economy regains its strength; continuing to provide skilled workmanship in the commercial electrical field for many reputable general contractors and corporations. Our service area covers the entire state of Arizona.
The primary foundation of our success lies in the continued quality of service we provide. Measurements of this success are evident in our safety record which resulted in a .60 EMR and our bonding capacity, which is $15M for single projects and $35M aggregate.
